Dr. Nicholas Ciancarelli has over 16 years experience in all phases of general, cosmetic and complex restorative dentistry. He has extensive training and has certifications from the prestigious Kois Center, Spear Institutes and the Martel Center of Occlusion.

Dr. Ciancarelli graduated from the acclaimed Goldman School of Dental Medicine, at Boston University, in 2006. He served two years in a hospital residency in a clinical setting, before going into private practice in 2008 in the Greater Boston Metropolitan Area. Dr. Ciancarelli incorporated Back Bay Dental in 2020, continuing the legacy of the previous owner.

Prior to pursuing his dental career Dr. Ciancarelli was a researcher and microbiologist at Harvard University. This background was used to help create a strong medical dentistry practice.
